How much do grinds cost in Ireland?

Grinds in Ireland tend to be sold as a weekly hour, a term bundle or private 1-to-1. Next Level Learning posts one monthly price per student, per subject, so you can compare the whole week your child gets and not only the hour on the clock.

What you pay with Next Level Learning

Group Grinds are €79 a month for two live one-hour Zoom classes a week. You get two free grinds before you enrol, plus a worksheet and solutions every class, WhatsApp help, a group plan of action, recordings and a parent dashboard.

1-to-1 is €219 a month for one private lesson a week, with a personalised plan of action. Leaving Cert and Junior Cycle cost the same. Physics 1-to-1 is the same price too, though there are no Physics groups on the timetable yet.

The price is the same in Dublin, Cork or Leitrim, because every lesson is live online. Nobody pays for travel, and living outside a city doesn't cost extra.

What is included, and what is not

The price on the page is the price. There's no registration fee, materials fee or platform fee. December and January are charged at three-quarters of the standard monthly rate, and June, July and August aren't billed at all.

You only pay more if you enrol another subject or another child, each at the same rate. You can leave month to month from the parent portal.

How this compares with a typical weekly grind

A typical weekly grind is one hour, then not much until the next class. If you only compare the price per hour, you miss the worksheets, WhatsApp help, recordings and plan of action. Book a free grind, no card needed, and see what a whole week looks like.
