How Next Level Learning uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you control them.

This Cookies Policy explains how Next Level Learning uses cookies and similar technologies on nextlevellearning.ie. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Irish and EU ePrivacy rules require consent before we use non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising). Strictly necessary cookies can be used without that consent.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage (for your cookie choice) and pixels in marketing tags you have allowed.

2. How to control cookies

When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics and/or advertising cookies. You can change that at any time with Cookie settings in the website footer. We store your choice in local storage on this device, together with a policy version so we can ask again if our cookies practices change materially.

You can also block cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may stop sign-in from working.

3. Cookies we use

We group technologies as follows. Third-party names and cookie identifiers can change; treat the provider’s documentation as authoritative for exact cookie names.

3.1 Necessary

Supabase authentication session cookies (commonly including sb-*-auth-token style cookies), so you can stay signed in securely.
Cloudflare Turnstile on public forms: a spam challenge that may set Cloudflare cookies; it is not always a first-party cookie on our domain.
Local storage key nll-cookie-consent-v2: stores your cookie choice and consent policy version so we do not keep asking on every page load.
Security and load-balancing cookies set by our hosting provider (Vercel) where they are strictly necessary to deliver the site.

3.2 Analytics (optional)

The Google Analytics 4 tag may load with Google Consent Mode set to deny analytics storage until you choose Accept analytics (or Accept analytics and ads). Until then, GA does not use analytics cookies. After you accept analytics, it helps us see which public pages are used. IP anonymisation is enabled. Typical GA cookies include _ga and related identifiers set by Google. Linking GA4 data to Google Ads for audience building or ads performance measurement happens only when you have also chosen Accept analytics and ads (see section 3.3). We do not send student portal educational records to Google for advertising.

3.3 Meta and Google advertising (optional)

Advertising tags load only after you choose Accept analytics and ads. You can allow analytics without ads.

Meta Pixel records page views and lead events on public marketing pages when ads consent is on. Typical Meta cookies include _fbp and related identifiers.

Google Ads and related Google advertising cookies may include _gcl_au, _gcl_gb, _gcl_ag, _gcl_dc, gclid, and similar click or conversion identifiers (names can change; treat Google’s documentation as authoritative). With Google Consent Mode, when Analytics + Ads consent is active, Google Analytics 4 data may be linked to Google Ads for audience building and performance measurement. Where we use Google Enhanced Conversions, hashed customer parameters (for example SHA-256 hashed email or phone) may be sent to Google for matching.

We do not use educational records, student portal activity, or logged-in app learning data for advertising profiling, audience building, or behavioural ad targeting.

4. Third-party embeds

YouTube videos (privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com) and Google Drive PDF previews are not loaded until you choose to play or open them, or until you have allowed analytics or advertising cookies. Those providers may then set their own cookies under their policies.

Stripe checkout and the Stripe customer portal run on Stripe’s domains. Zoom lessons open on Zoom’s domain. WhatsApp, Trustpilot, and Google reviews are outbound links, not embeds.
